Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the Newcastle area.
Justin Edwards, aged 36, was last seen on Fairfield Avenue, New Lambton, about 10.30am on Thursday 3 September 2026.
When he was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Lake Macquarie Police District were notified yesterday (Friday 4 September 2026) before officers from Newcastle City Police District took carriage and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for Justin’s welfare as he lives with Autism.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 180cm to 185cm tall, of slim build, with sandy blonde/ginger long hair, short ginger beard and tattoos on his arms and hands.
Justin was last seen wearing grey tracksuit pants over blue shorts, black t-shirt with white writing, black zip up hooded jumper, black joggers and a grey cap.
He is known to frequent the Hamilton South and Mereweather areas.
