{"id":9982,"date":"2021-01-20T03:05:51","date_gmt":"2021-01-20T03:05:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.16news.com.au\/?p=9982"},"modified":"2021-01-20T03:05:51","modified_gmt":"2021-01-20T03:05:51","slug":"city-deliver-on-promise-to-community-by-investing-millions-in-priority-projects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.16news.com.au\/index.php\/2021\/01\/20\/city-deliver-on-promise-to-community-by-investing-millions-in-priority-projects\/","title":{"rendered":"City deliver on promise to community by investing millions in Priority Projects"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Novocastrians are encouraged to \u2018go out and enjoy their city by grabbing it with both hands\u2019 in the tagline for City of Newcastle\u2019s latest Priority Projects campaign.<br \/>\nThe campaign features four Priority Projects initiatives including City Centre Revitalisation, Blackbutt Reserve, Cycleways, and Coastal Revitalisation projects.<br \/>\nPriority Projects in 2021 have been identified as a result of extensive community consultation and the significant investment will benefit residents, businesses and visitors to Newcastle.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Priority-projects-2021-campaign.png\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newcastle.nsw.gov.au\/getattachment\/Council\/News\/Latest-News\/City-deliver-on-promise-to-community-by-investing-\/Priority-projects-2021-campaign.png\" alt=\"Priority-projects-2021-campaign.png\" \/><br \/>\nBuilding on the success of previous campaigns, the 2021 campaign features engaging videos that place the audience in amongst the action by using a first-person point of view.<br \/>\nThe campaign features a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/XTw4VWoGOVY\">30-second television commercial (TVC)<\/a>\u00a0running until 31 January 2021, an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/JSTraMqCPDI\">overarching video<\/a>\u00a0for social media and website, and four project specific videos. Each of the project videos can be found on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/newcastle.nsw.gov.au\/council\/news\/priority-projects\">City of Newcastle&#8217;s Priority Projects webpage<\/a>\u00a0or via the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.newcastle.nsw.gov.au\/council\/news\/priority-projects\/city-centre-revitalisation\">City Centre Revitalisation<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.newcastle.nsw.gov.au\/council\/news\/priority-projects\/blackbutt-reserve\">Blackbutt Reserve<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.newcastle.nsw.gov.au\/council\/news\/priority-projects\/cycleways\">Cycleways<\/a>, and<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.newcastle.nsw.gov.au\/council\/news\/priority-projects\/coastal-revitalisation\">Coastal Revitalisation<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Footpath decals have also been placed in strategic locations within each Priority Projects area with a QR code linking back to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/XTw4VWoGOVY\">TVC<\/a>.
