{"id":9964,"date":"2021-01-19T01:06:38","date_gmt":"2021-01-19T01:06:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.16news.com.au\/?p=9964"},"modified":"2021-01-19T01:06:38","modified_gmt":"2021-01-19T01:06:38","slug":"business-registrations-open-for-dine-discover","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.16news.com.au\/index.php\/2021\/01\/19\/business-registrations-open-for-dine-discover\/","title":{"rendered":"BUSINESS REGISTRATIONS OPEN FOR DINE &amp; DISCOVER"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Eligible businesses across the state can now register to take part in the NSW Government\u2019s major economic stimulus program, Dine &amp; Discover NSW.<br \/>\nThe program will create an economic boost for dining, arts and\u00a0tourism businesses, which have been impacted by COVID-19, and encourage customers to get out and about safely.<br \/>\nTreasurer Dominic Perrottet encouraged businesses to register and get ready so they can hit the ground running when the program goes live.<br \/>\n\u201cWe\u2019ve heard loud and clear just how tough it has been for businesses across NSW. This program will reinvigorate local economies and provide customers with hip pocket relief,\u201d Mr Perrottet said.<br \/>\n\u201cEncouraging people to support local businesses in a safe way through this program will provide an important boost for the state.\u201d<br \/>\nMinister for Customer Service Victor Dominello said Service NSW is launching a specialised app for participating businesses, so they can scan and track voucher usage over the life of the program.<br \/>\n\u201cAfter applying online, NSW businesses will be able to track the progress of the application through their MyServiceNSW Business Profile.\u00a0Business owners will then receive a step-by-step process on how to get ready,\u201d Mr Dominello said.<br \/>\n\u201cWith a high uptake of the vouchers expected across the state, the Business Profile provides one, easy to use location for businesses to stay on top of voucher transactions.<br \/>\n\u201cBusinesses will be automatically paid typically within 5 business days for the value of vouchers redeemed.<br \/>\n\u201cAll eligible businesses will receive an email from Service NSW with details on how to register. I also urge residents to do yourself a favour and download the Service NSW app now in anticipation of the rollout.\u201d<br \/>\nMinister for Finance and Small Business Damien Tudehope said the program\u00a0would be a boost for small businesses after a challenging time.<br \/>\n\u201cWe want people to get out there, support their local businesses and get spending,\u201d Mr Tudehope said.<br \/>\n\u201cThe program will be rolled out in a few steps to ensure a seamless customer experience.<br \/>\n\u201cPhase one will include a pilot at The Rocks and in Broken Hill in early February. The pilot will then be expanded to the Northern Beaches, Sydney CBD and Bega Valley Shire Council, which is expected to commence in late February.<br \/>\n\u201cThe findings from the pilots will inform the state wide rollout, expected to commence in March, that will run until 30 June 2021.\u201d<br \/>\nEvery NSW resident aged 18 and over will be eligible for four $25 vouchers worth $100 in total, to spend in participating businesses. The vouchers\u00a0will be divided into two categories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Two $25 vouchers\u00a0to\u00a0be used\u00a0for\u00a0eating in\u00a0at\u00a0restaurants, cafes, bars, pubs\u00a0and\u00a0clubs\u00a0from\u00a0Monday to Thursday, excluding public holidays.<\/li>\n<li>Two $25 vouchers\u00a0to\u00a0be used for\u00a0entertainment and recreation, including\u00a0cultural institutions, live music,\u00a0and\u00a0arts venues,\u00a0available 7 days a week, excluding public holidays.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The vouchers can only be used within businesses that have implemented a COVID Safety Plan and are registered as COVID Safe.<br \/>\nFor more information on Dine &amp; Discover NSW business registration and eligibility, visit<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nsw.gov.au\/\">www.nsw.gov.au<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Eligible businesses across the state can now register to take part in the NSW Government\u2019s major economic stimulus program, Dine &amp; Discover NSW.
