Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man wanted on outstanding warrants.
\nPaul Tighe, aged 34, is wanted on two outstanding warrants for assault and stealing offences.
\nPolice from Newcastle City Police District have commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
\nHe is known to frequent Western Sydney, Newcastle, Bathurst and Port Macquarie.
\nHe is described as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in appearance, between 175cm to 180cm tall, with a thin build and a distinctive tattoo on his upper left arm.
\nIt is believed he may be travelling in a white Subaru Outback with NSW registration ATA 42D.
