A police officer has been charged over alleged off-duty assaults in the state\u2019s Hunter Region.
\nIn February, an investigation commenced after a physical altercation between neighbours was reported, which involved an off-duty male police officer.
\nTheir inquiries also uncovered another physical altercation between the off-duty officer and the neighbour\u2019s son, which occurred in December 2019.
\nFollowing extensive investigations, the 39-year-old detective senior constable \u2013 who is attached to Northern Region \u2013 was served a Future Court Attendance Notice yesterday (Tuesday 20 October 2020), for assault occasioning actual bodily harm and two counts of common assault.
\nHe is due to appear at Toronto Local Court on Tuesday 1 December 2020.
