\n\u201cThe Government has shown today how easy it is to expand eligibility,\u201d Greens Leader, Adam Bandt, said today.
\n\u201cWhile we welcome an expansion, this was surely an opportunity to fill the gaps that see millions of workers unfairly missing out on JobKeeper.
\n\u201cThe biggest lesson we\u2019re learning from COVID-19 is that you can\u2019t leave anyone behind. It\u2019s important that we provide everyone with\u00a0the support they need to be able to cope with this pandemic and ensure restrictions have the best chance of working.
\n“JobKeeper must be expanded to include childcare workers, casuals, university staff and workers on temporary visas.
\nDon\u2019t cut the rate
\n\u201cIt\u2019s also very concerning that the Liberal\/Labor agreement to cut JobSeeker continues unabated.
