An investigation is underway following a suspicious house fire in the state\u2019s Hunter region this morning.
\nAbout 3.30am (Thursday 9 July 2020), emergency services were called to a house on Hart Road, Loxford, following reports of a fire.
\nFire and Rescue NSW attended and extinguished the blaze.
\nThe house was vacant at the time and no injuries were reported.
\nOfficers attached to Hunter Valley Police District established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
\nInitial investigations suggest the fire may have been deliberately lit.
