Police are appealing for public assistance as investigations continue into an assault that occurred in the front yard of a home in Muswellbrook last night.
\nAbout 7.30pm (Saturday 13 June 2020), a 28-year-old man was standing in the front yard of a home on Tindale Street, when he was reportedly assaulted.
\nHe suffered a fractured skull and lacerations to his face and arms. He was treated at the scene before being taken to John Hunter Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
\nA crime scene was established at the Tindale Street home as investigations continue by officers from Hunter Valley Police District.
\nAt this stage, the circumstances as to how the man suffered his injuries are unclear. Detectives are now calling for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
