Investigations are underway after the body of a man was found in the state\u2019s Hunter region today.
\nAbout 5.45am (Saturday 29 February 2020), emergency services were called to the intersection of Watt Street and Payton Street, Raymond Terrace, after the body of a man was found in the middle of the road.
\nOfficers from Port Stephens-Hunter Police District established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
\nThe man is yet to be formally identified.
