Australian Greens Leader Adam Bandt MP has slammed Angus Taylor\u2019s dim-witted plan to ditch support for solar and wind in favour of unproven and ineffective Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) technology.
\nIn a speech today, the Energy and Emissions Reduction Minister will signal a shift away from renewables towards Carbon Capture and Storage and brown hydrogen.
\n\u201cAngus Taylor\u2019s one KPI is in his job description and he can\u2019t even meet it,\u201d said Mr Bandt.
\n\u201cThe only energy sources in Australia that have cut pollution are wind and solar. Now is the time to be backing them in and supporting investment, not cutting support.
