A girl remains in a critical condition after being found in a vehicle in the Port Stephens area this afternoon.
\nPolice from Port Stephens \u2013 Hunter Police District attended a home in Tanilba Bay about 4.30pm (Tuesday 26 November 2019), after reports a five-year-old girl was found inside a car parked in the driveway of the family home.
\nThe girl was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a critical condition.
\nThe circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation by detectives from Port Stephens.
