Police are appealing for public assistance following reports of alleged sexual touching on a bus in the state\u2019s Hunter region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Officers from Port-Stephens Hunter Police District have been told about 3.50pm yesterday (Wednesday 9 September 2026), three girls were on a bus travelling from Rotary Park, Kurri Kurri, to Cessnock Road, Gillieston Heights, when an unknown man has allegedly touched one of the girls on the hip and thigh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The girl was not injured. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
An investigation into the incident commenced and police have released an image of a man they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 40s or 50s, of medium to large build, with short grey hair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
