A driver has died after crashing into a tree in the state\u2019s Hunter Region today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
About 2pm (Friday 17 April 2026), emergency services were called to Leconfield Road, Greta, following reports of a crash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Officers attached to Hunter Valley Police District attended and found that a Kia sedan had crashed into a tree while navigating a bend in the road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The driver \u2013 a 19-year-old man \u2013 died at the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Forensic officers have attended and will examine the scene of the crash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
