A motorcycle rider has died after crashing in the state\u2019s Hunter region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Shortly after 8.30am today (Sunday 25 January 2026), emergency services were called to Sandy Creek Road, Mount Vincent, following reports of a crash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Officers from Hunter Valley Police District arrived to find a motorcycle had left the roadway and crashed into a tree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The rider \u2013 a man believed to be aged in his 60s \u2013 was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for serious injuries, however died at the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He is yet to be formally identified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Police have established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
