{"id":32285,"date":"2025-04-11T19:29:29","date_gmt":"2025-04-11T19:29:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.16news.com.au\/?p=32285"},"modified":"2025-04-11T19:34:52","modified_gmt":"2025-04-11T19:34:52","slug":"barangaroos-beating-heart-reaches-major-milestone","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.16news.com.au\/index.php\/2025\/04\/11\/barangaroos-beating-heart-reaches-major-milestone\/","title":{"rendered":"Barangaroo\u2019s \u2018beating heart\u2019 reaches major milestone"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The next piece of the Barangaroo puzzle is taking shape, with the bespoke fitout transforming the Cutaway at Barangaroo into a premier cultural destination reaching the halfway mark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the metro open, and Central Barangaroo given the green light, the new and improved Cutaway is set to be the beating heart of the Barangaroo precinct, providing an iconic space capable of hosting a diverse range of events<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Cutaway will continue to solidify Sydney&#8217;s reputation as a world-class destination, attracting visitors to Barangaroo and ensuring our city&#8217;s vibrancy for years to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This follows the Minns Labor Government renewed focus on bringing the fun back to Sydney, through relaxing restrictions on nighttime trading and outdoor dining, lifting the concert caps at our major venues and investing in attractions that will boost the state\u2019s visitor economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Cutaway first opened in 2015 as a raw concrete shell and is now undergoing an upgrade to become a more usable space.
