Police are appealing for public assistance over an armed robbery in the state\u2019s north.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
About 3pm on Friday 28 March 2025, police were called to a licensed premises on Ntaba Road, Jewells, following reports of an alleged armed robbery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Officers attached to Lake Macquarie Police District were told an unknown man forced his entry into the premises with a broken glass bottle before he stole an amount of cash and left the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There were no injuries reported due to the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A crime scene has been established and an investigation into the incident was commenced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following inquiries, police have released images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with inquiries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
