{"id":30647,"date":"2024-12-17T08:27:16","date_gmt":"2024-12-17T08:27:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.16news.com.au\/?p=30647"},"modified":"2024-12-17T08:27:16","modified_gmt":"2024-12-17T08:27:16","slug":"maitland-teacher-guides-a-student-to-first-in-the-state-for-a-fifth-straight-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.16news.com.au\/index.php\/2024\/12\/17\/maitland-teacher-guides-a-student-to-first-in-the-state-for-a-fifth-straight-year\/","title":{"rendered":"MAITLAND TEACHER GUIDES A STUDENT TO FIRST IN THE STATE FOR A FIFTH STRAIGHT YEAR"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>OneSchool Global Maitland teacher Andra Rensburg has remarkably seen one of her students top the state in the Higher School Certificate (HSC) Financial Services subject for a fifth straight year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the 2024 HSC, OneSchool Global student Rory Wallace followed in the footsteps of four prior OneSchool winners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 18-year-old from Orange in Central West NSW was able to pursue his passion for Financial Services through OneSchool Global\u2019s innovative remote learning platform, which allows students to access courses delivered from the school\u2019s campuses across the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rory said he was pleased to receive the first-place award after seizing the opportunity to study Financial Services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAt OneSchool Global, our teachers and the school community provide us with outstanding support to achieve,\u201d Rory said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cTo come first in the State is really exciting, and I am thankful for the effort our teacher Mrs Rensburg puts into teaching this program. I am glad I could add to the list of OneSchool Global\u2019s students who have achieved this result with Mrs Rensburg\u2019s support.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With five students consecutively placing first in the State in five years, Mrs Rensburg congratulated Rory on his achievement as well as the prior OSG State students who topped the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cRory has worked really hard this year, and this result is reflective of his outstanding effort. Rory and the OneSchool students who have preceded him continue to prove that commitment and hard work are the foundations to achievement and success.
