Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from the Newcastle region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lara Sutton, aged 12, was last seen at a public pool on Durham Road, Lambton, about 11.30am on Thursday (3 October 2024).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Newcastle City Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Police and family hold concerns for her welfare due her age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lara is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 160cm-165cm tall, thin build, with brown hair and blue eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She is known to frequent the Waratah West, Woodrising and Toronto areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
