Prime Minister Anthony Albanese will welcome the Prime Minister of New Zealand, The Rt Hon Christopher Luxon, to Australia from 15\u201316 August 2024 as a Guest of the Australian Government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prime Minister Albanese will meet with Prime Minister Luxon in Canberra for the annual Australia-New Zealand Leaders’ Meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The leaders will discuss modernising our economic relationship, strengthening our Alliance and broader security partnership, and supporting our Pacific partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This will be Prime Minister Luxon’s third official visit to Australia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prime Minister Luxon travelled to Australia in December 2023 for his first overseas trip as Prime Minister, as well as visiting for the ASEAN-Australia Special Summit in March this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
