A man has died following two-vehicle crash in the state\u2019s Hunter Region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
About 3.50pm today (Monday 5 August 2024), emergency services were called to Cessnock Road, Cliftleigh, following reports a car and truck had collided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The driver of the car \u2013 a 31-year-old man \u2013 was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, he died at the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The driver of the truck \u2013 a man believed to be aged in his 40s \u2013 was taken to John Hunter Hospital in a serious but stable condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Officers attached to Port Stephens-Hunter Police District have established a crime scene, which will be forensically examined by specialist police from the Crash Investigation Unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
