{"id":27301,"date":"2024-06-19T19:15:24","date_gmt":"2024-06-19T19:15:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.16news.com.au\/?p=27301"},"modified":"2024-06-19T19:15:24","modified_gmt":"2024-06-19T19:15:24","slug":"labors-budget-of-blame-lets-nsw-down","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.16news.com.au\/index.php\/2024\/06\/19\/labors-budget-of-blame-lets-nsw-down\/","title":{"rendered":"Labor\u2019s budget of blame lets NSW down"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The NSW Opposition has slammed Labor\u2019s Budget of blame for delivering more deficits, higher taxes and less investment while ignoring the cost of living crisis. \u00a0<br>\u00a0<br>Leader of the Opposition Mark Speakman said despite the Minns Labor Government\u2019s taxes bringing in record revenues, NSW is facing more real cuts to overall health, education and infrastructure spending and a long line of deficits.<br>\u00a0<br>\u201cInstead of helping struggling households and small businesses, Chris Minns is imposing more taxes and blaming everyone, from Canberra to Donald Trump, for his Government\u2019s budget mismanagement instead of the real culprit \u2013 their unfunded deals with union bosses,\u201d Mr Speakman said.<br>\u00a0<br>\u201cBefore the election, Labor promised that their union deals would cost the Budget nothing but they are costing at least $9 billion, and that\u2019s without taking into account more than $6 billion in current union wage demands for which no money has been provided in this Budget.\u201d<br>\u00a0<br>\u201cThis is a Government of excuses.
