The body of a man has been located in the water on the State\u2019s north coast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
About 9.10am yesterday (Saturday 18 February 2023), officers from Port Stephens Water Police responded to a report that a body had been located approximately 60m offshore by a member of the public in Swan Bay \u2013 approximately 20km west of Nelson Bay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The body was recovered by police and returned to shore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Whilst the body is yet to be formally identified it is believed to be that of a 44-year-old man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There are no suspicious circumstances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
