It will take much more to provide high quality, safe and timely care"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Labor\u2019s budget gives billionaires and politicians a $9,000 a year tax cut but fails to deliver for older Australians and the aged care sector.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Senator Rice said:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe Greens welcome the $3.9billion in increased funding for the aged care sector but it falls short of the total funding recommended by the Royal Commission by more than $4billion a year.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cLabor\u2019s budget gives billionaires and politicians a $9,000 a year tax cut but fails to deliver for older Australians and the aged care sector.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis budget was a missed opportunity for the government to ensure that older people in this country have access to the level of care they need.
