A man has died in a suspected drowning in the Lake Macquarie region.
\nJust after 10am today (Sunday 10 March 2019), emergency services were called to Pinny Beach after an 18-year-old man, who had been bodyboarding, was pulled from the water unconscious.
\nDespite efforts to revive him the man died at the scene.
