{"id":17678,"date":"2022-08-08T14:47:47","date_gmt":"2022-08-08T14:47:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.16news.com.au\/?p=17678"},"modified":"2022-08-08T14:47:47","modified_gmt":"2022-08-08T14:47:47","slug":"stunning-spaces-on-the-way-for-barangaroo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.16news.com.au\/index.php\/2022\/08\/08\/stunning-spaces-on-the-way-for-barangaroo\/","title":{"rendered":"Stunning spaces on the way for Barangaroo"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Plans for a new&nbsp;1.85 hectare harbourside&nbsp;park and a stunning new design for the Cutaway have been unveiled as part of the next stage in the NSW Government\u2019s transformation of Barangaroo.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Minister for Cities Rob Stokes said the park would complement the future mixed-use precinct of&nbsp;Central Barangaroo, and create a new public space on the edge of Sydney\u2019s harbour.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhat was a vacant container terminal is now a&nbsp;thriving residential, commercial and entertainment hub, soon to be linked to a world-class Metro line,\u201d Mr Perrottet said.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe world\u2019s best cities aren\u2019t just liveable&nbsp;and workable, they\u2019re also beautiful.
