Police are investigating a suspicious fire in the state\u2019s Upper Hunter overnight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
About 7.45pm (Tuesday 17 May 2022), emergency services were called to a unit on Tindale Street, Muswellbrook, following reports the unit was well alight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Crews from Fire and Rescue NSW extinguished the blaze a short time later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A 41-year-old woman was assessed at the scene for smoke inhalation, however declined hospital treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The unit was significantly damaged, however no other units were affected and no one was injured during the fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Officers attached to Hunter Valley Police District established a crime scene, which was held overnight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
