{"id":15778,"date":"2022-03-28T19:41:39","date_gmt":"2022-03-28T19:41:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.16news.com.au\/?p=15778"},"modified":"2022-03-28T19:41:39","modified_gmt":"2022-03-28T19:41:39","slug":"no-red-tape-for-hospitality-workers-from-interstate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.16news.com.au\/index.php\/2022\/03\/28\/no-red-tape-for-hospitality-workers-from-interstate\/","title":{"rendered":"No red tape for hospitality workers from interstate"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The number of hospitality workers is being boosted to help NSW businesses struggling with staff shortages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Automatic Mutual Recognition initiative allows certified Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) staff from Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania, Western Australia and the ACT&nbsp; to work in NSW without needing new credentials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Minister for Hospitality and Racing Kevin Anderson said the hospitality sector is continuing to struggle with staff shortages post the COVID-19 pandemic, so creating a wider talent pool will help ease some pressure on the sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe industry has experienced incredible hardship over the past two years and that\u2019s why we need to do everything we can to support it and get businesses booming and the sector thriving once again,\u201d Mr Anderson said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cPreviously, hospitality workers who wanted to temporarily work in NSW had to spend time and money getting additional RSA certification.
