So why isn\u2019t the government doing more to get Australia on track?\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cIt\u2019s ludicrous that don\u2019t already have a national charging network nor any plans for one.\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cThe Labor party is no better, having endorsed a report of the Select Committee on Electric Vehicles that was short on detail and low on ambition.\u201d<br \/>\n\u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/icm-tracking.meltwater.com\/link.php?DynEngagement=true&amp;H=FcQ5do3Mtm%2F2JnP%2FxXFcY%2BL9mOkU%2Fad4G7kfqxVfSdkEEq1vNf2gy16UCHberu0%2BA7gL1glgJ5YaE%2FoYIzOi%2BNjj9MB6303dixptt7lxymtT9E00DgLlxzMoXwd1lGjD&amp;G=0&amp;R=https%3A%2F%2Fgreens.org.au%2Fsites%2Fgreens.org.au%2Ffiles%2FGreens%2520EV%2520Policy.pdf&amp;I=20190213232726.00000080d7db%40mail6-41-usnbn1&amp;X=MHwxMDQ2NzU4OjVjNjRhN2RkMzRiZjU1NTA3Y2I4ZmQyZDs%3D&amp;S=S8ozR8PmY2PQu0lGfBJ9HTw5fjaF4Mg290R-CBnKr_I\">The Greens\u2019 policy<\/a>\u00a0to get Australia back in the race is to put $150 million towards a national fast-charging network, as well as ambitious targets and incentives to drive the uptake of electric vehicles.\u201d<br \/>\nOther Infrastructure Australia priorities include large investments in rail network upgrades in Melbourne and preserving a high-speed rail corridor between Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.<br \/>\n\u201cThe Greens would give priority to funding public transport and fast tracking high-speed rail.
