A teacher will be in court today charged over the alleged grooming and indecent assault of a 15-year-old schoolboy at a high school in the Hunter region.
\nOn Wednesday (13 February 2019), officers from Lake Macquarie Police District were told a 26-year-old female teacher had allegedly been sending explicit images of herself to a student at a high school where she was employed.
\nFollowing inquiries, the woman was arrested at a home in Wyee at 11pm yesterday (Thursday 14 February 2019), and taken to Toronto Police Station.
\nShe has now been charged with,
\n\u2022 Groom child for unlawful activity
\n\u2022 Aggravated indecent assault \u2013 victim under the age of 16
\n\u2022 Aggravated sexually touch another person (three counts).
