Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a woman missing from the state\u2019s Hunter region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Zharnee Mitchelmore, aged 18 was last seen about 6pm on Sunday 13 February 2022 at Fagans Parade, Rutherford.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When she did not return home, carers contacted police and officers attached to Port Stephens \u2013 Hunter Police District commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Police hold serious concerns for her welfare as she lives with an intellectual disability. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Zharnee is described as being of Aboriginal \/ Torres Strait Islander appearance, 160cm tall, of solid build, with brown hair and brown eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She is known to frequent the Rutherford and Morpeth areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
