{"id":13340,"date":"2021-10-13T03:33:35","date_gmt":"2021-10-13T03:33:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.16news.com.au\/?p=13340"},"modified":"2021-10-13T03:33:35","modified_gmt":"2021-10-13T03:33:35","slug":"local-sport-scores-4-6-million-funding-boost","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.16news.com.au\/index.php\/2021\/10\/13\/local-sport-scores-4-6-million-funding-boost\/","title":{"rendered":"Local sport scores $4.6 million funding boost"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Initiatives which focus on increasing participation in sport through events, development programs and facilities are the focus of the latest round of the NSW Government\u2019s Local Sport Grant Program.<br \/>\nMinister for Sport Natalie Ward said more than $4.6 million is available to local sporting clubs to make their ideas to boost participation a reality, as COVID restrictions ease.<br \/>\n\u201cWe know sport has great health, social and economic advantages and we\u2019re looking to strengthen our local sporting communities as we plan for the future,\u201d Mrs Ward said.<br \/>\n\u201cSport goes far beyond the physical benefits.
