{"id":12719,"date":"2021-08-30T04:43:19","date_gmt":"2021-08-30T04:43:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.16news.com.au\/?p=12719"},"modified":"2021-08-30T04:43:19","modified_gmt":"2021-08-30T04:43:19","slug":"supplier-hub-invoicing-portal-goes-live","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.16news.com.au\/index.php\/2021\/08\/30\/supplier-hub-invoicing-portal-goes-live\/","title":{"rendered":"Supplier Hub Invoicing Portal goes live"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Small and medium businesses working with the NSW Government can now track their invoices more easily and get paid faster, thanks to the launch of the Supplier Hub Invoicing Portal.<br \/>\nThe invoicing portal, launched on Buy.NSW\u2019s Supplier Hub, gives more than 20,000 suppliers a centralised source for all invoicing information; allowing them to submit invoices to e-Invoicing enabled agencies and check the status of submitted invoices.<br \/>\nMinister for Digital and Customer Service Victor Dominello said the portal is an important step leading up to next year\u2019s e-Invoicing mandate.<br \/>\n\u201cWe are putting the customer at the centre of the process. The Hub will save suppliers time and money by reducing payment times, paperwork, and manual errors,\u201d Mr Dominello said.<br \/>\n\u201cThis is a one-stop shop for suppliers to register to sell to NSW Government, update their information, view opportunities and share procurement-related information.<br \/>\n\u201cWe want to reduce the amount of time businesses have to deal with government, so they can instead focus on running their operations.\u201d<br \/>\nMinister for Finance and Small Business Damien Tudehope said the new portal would reduce red tape and make the invoicing process easier.<br \/>\n\u201cCash flow is one of the most important issues for businesses and often it can take time to receive payment,\u201d Mr Tudehope said.<br \/>\n\u201cThis portal will facilitate faster and on time payments to businesses to cut down on unnecessary stress for those who just want to get on with the job.\u201d<br \/>\nThe e-Invoicing service has been enabled across the 42 agencies that are part of the Customer Service, Premier and Cabinet, Treasury and Stronger Communities &amp; Justice clusters.<br \/>\nBusinesses with a Supplier Hub account, and which do not use any accounting software, can use the Portal to quickly send their invoices to agencies that are enabled for e-Invoicing.<br \/>\nAll State Government agencies will be expected to receive e-Invoices by 1 January 2022.<br \/>\nBased on the 4.2 million invoices across NSW Government in 2019, a shared saving between the suppliers and NSW Government is estimated to be $71 million.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Small and medium businesses working with the NSW Government can now track their invoices more easily and get paid faster, thanks to the launch of the Supplier Hub Invoicing Portal.
