{"id":12490,"date":"2021-08-13T03:39:43","date_gmt":"2021-08-13T03:39:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.16news.com.au\/?p=12490"},"modified":"2021-08-13T03:39:43","modified_gmt":"2021-08-13T03:39:43","slug":"senate-committee-tables-fourth-interim-report-into-robodebt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.16news.com.au\/index.php\/2021\/08\/13\/senate-committee-tables-fourth-interim-report-into-robodebt\/","title":{"rendered":"Senate Committee tables fourth interim report into robodebt"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Senate Community Affairs References Committee has tabled its\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.aph.gov.au\/Parliamentary_Business\/Committees\/Senate\/Community_Affairs\/Centrelinkcompliance\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fourth interim report<\/a>\u00a0into the Government\u2019s robodebt scheme.<br \/>\n\u201cThe Committee does not accept the Government\u2019s ongoing claim of public interest immunity in regards to the legal advice on the illegal robodebt scheme\u201d, Senator Rachel Siewert said.<br \/>\nIt is very clearly in the public interest for the Government to release this legal advice and Government Ministers are simply avoiding accountability by hiding behind this claim.<br \/>\nThe court case is over.
